McGary & Co. was incorporated in California in the mid-1950's as a wholesale distributor of linens, bedding and towels.

We distribute products from most of the major U.S. manufacturers, which has been a curious evolution over the last few years as many of the U.S. manufacturers have gone out of business. Nevertheless, we distribute products from Springs/Wamsutta, WestPoint/Stevens, Hollander, Thomasville and Biederlack, to name a few.

Years ago we expanded our distribution in include a substantial import business, primarily from Italy. We started doing business in Italy about 20 years ago, and imported products under the brand name "Lisa Galimberti." There are a number of ways of buying product in Italy, and we feel our experience has taught us the "right way."

About a year ago we decided to change the brand name on our Italian products to "Belisari." This name will slowly replace the "Lisa Galimberti" labels. The products will be the same; the labels will be new.

Our basic thrust as a company is to make sure the merchandise we distribute, whether domestic or imported, is in the upper echelon of our industry. We think you'll agree.
