For many years we have been looking for an Italian towel appropriate for the American market. Unfortunately most Italian towels are fairly light and thin because the typical Italian household doesn't have a large capacity washer and dryer (if they even have a dryer). We finally found an Italian supplier who weaves a fantastic product. The result is our "Treccia" towel. Treccia is made by contract between our company and the supplier and is not available in the open market.

The weight of the towel is 770 gr/m2. What makes the product so wonderful is how it is woven. Many towels achieve a high weight specification by making very thick, densely packed, terry loops (think carpet). The Treccia towel achieves its weight by using very long terry loops that give the product extraordinary softness and absorbency. All the sizes of the Treccia towels are larger than normal (who wants a skimpy towel?), and are finished with a distinctive braid dobby border.
